Summary |
6 Second Abs is a stomach fat workout machine that claims to offer users a focused core training session. In fact, its developer suggests that users can get the same kind of core training session in at home that they would normally get in when using gym grade core training machines and adjuncts, including the Captain’s Chair and Seated Crunch Machine. 6 Second Abs is sold on through its home site at this time, although you may find it being sold through third party retail sites too.

 | Qualities |
|
The 6 Second Abs system is designed to be done in a seated position, in a similar fashion as you would use the seated ab crunch machine, but it actually uses your own resistance to work the core rather than using plates or weights. The user sits with the 6 Second Abs pressed into their thighs, and then when they are ready, they push down, contracting the upper, middle, and lower abs, along with the oblique muscles as they go. On the way up the core muscles release, and this is where the toning and strengthening affect comes into play.

When you visit the 6 Second Abs website, you’ll discover that this system offers users 55 pounds of resistance and five different resistance levels when they do their stomach fat burning exercises. You also discover that by doing four sets of ten crunches each, lasting four minutes, users can achieve the same results as they would if they were doing 600 traditional crunches.
The website also provides visitors with pictures of the 6 Second Abs system being used by a virtual user. This section allows users to see how and why it works, and they can also take a look at success stories posted by actual users. On the site you can also upgrade your package for $19.95 to receive a machine that offers nine resistance levels and 75 pounds of resistance. They also include their resistance based Body Sculpting Band with purchases at this time.

 | Final Facts |
|
The 6 Second Abs stomach fat program was designed to provide users with an exercise based way to work their core without having to do traditional crunches or sit ups or use gym grade machines. As we saw above, it uses resistance based technology offering from 55 to 75 pounds of resistance per core exercise, but you control the resistance levels, so you don’t over do it, and so you can build upon your workout. That said, the 6 Second Abs machine is also built to be easily stored away when you’re done with it.

Claire_Dietfreak: The 6 Second Abs looks very interesting but can it also help people loose some Stomach fat?
Frank T.: Nah this is not a stomach fat burning exercises, it’s just for crunches…I think to burn you have to do a lot of cardio and diet that’s all. Not sure the six second Abs is for me though, looks kind if stiff and hard to use, is it?
Thomas887: The six second abs machine is where you sit down and then you push on the top of it with a lot of resistance and it gives you a perfect crunch, that’s what the site says anyway, but I dunno, I thinking more in the line of an ab coaster, trouble is those things are darn big, so maybe I’m better off with an abs belt? Just want the best stomach fat workout I can find…
Ray: I was reading on the flex belt site than you can get up to 150 crunches per session, not sure i could do as many on my own with the 6 second abs?
James: So you also get a video when you order Six second abs? Thats in the plus column. I want an ab machine that is awesome. this may or may not be…so many deicions!
JUlie_M: stomach fat exercises like pilates and crunches take time – I dont have time I need to get fit fast I need a fast acting ab roller or some such similar peoduct.
BetsyBoo: This Six Second Abs looks like it presses right into your legs and I wonder if it’s got pads to go with it? I want a fast stomach fat workout for sure, but maybe an ab toning belt would be easier?
GG: looks pretty cool, an alternative to doing crunches and the six second abs thing is cheaper than an Ab Circle Pro. I would think it might be a decent stomach fat workout, but curious why the whole ‘6 seconds’ thing. Sounds to me like it takes longer than that per workout?
Hank: So what kind of stomach fat diet comes with the 6 Second Abs? And does it have menus, a shopping list? I’m not very good at getting away from the junk food, need something that’s gonna keep me on the straight and narrow, seems like you gotta do it all if you’re gonna get the results you want.
Kim66: Well from what i read it does not have to be hard because you can adjust the resistance of the six minute abs to your liking. How does this compare to an abdominal toning belt though?
WillyQ: Having too much Stomach fat can leads to diabetes, I read. I need to reconsider an ab diet or a abdominal belt that works…thats why I am reading reviews. so ready to get healthy and slimmer.
Anonymous: Maybe it takes 6 seconds to push the machine down? I mean if it’s got a resistance of 50 pounds, it’s gonna be hard at first for sure, wondering about that ab energizer belt AND the Six Second abs, that way I’d be sure and get some kinds of stomach fat burning exercises going don’t you think?
CASEY: HOw do you know that, is there a good ab toner for stomach fat burning exercises or somethign?
WESTON: NOT SURE I GET HOW THIS WORKS IS IT AN AB BELT OR NOT? AS GOOD AS THE FLEX BELT???
LisaRaeBledsoe: Stomach fat that gives you that apple shape is the bad one, an ab circle pro looks like it would attack that for sure, but either the Six Second Abs or one of those toning belts I’ve been reading about look like they’d be a lot less stressful.
Jessica: I just watched the informercial of six second abs on youtube and i am not really impressed, you just sit on a chair and do crunches with it. $42 for no technology. I don’t seems like a lot. Maybe pilates is a better idea, that or a contour ab belt?
norma JAY: yeah i think you need cardio to realy target stomach fat, maybe thats what the video is for. i think anything you do to work ab muscles is beter than just trying to diet. I was thinking of an ab coaster but wanted to read more ab belt reviews and also see what other kinds of products are around. I’m not sure I’m totally psyched about the Six Second Abs, I feellike i’ve seen the most positive feedback on the Flex belt
Amy_BDAY_girl: I don’t know, it looks to me that an ab belt maybe more gentle on my back than something like six second abs. And you can do things while wearing a belt like going for a jog which is definitely a good thing if you need a stomach fat diet like i do! But that’s just me, they both sounds good.
