Summary |
Having a six pack you can feel and see usually involves getting your core muscles stronger and tighter, as well as getting rid of inches of stomach fat. This is where the Smart Abs system comes into the core training equation. It was designed to provide users with a way to do a focused and effective series of stomach fat burning exercises, and it’s often used along with a stomach fat diet to get rid of belly fat. Smart abs uses resistance based technology, and some readers may already be familiar with it, because this same technology has been used in the gym for years, namely in the ab crunch machine. Let’s take a closer look at this technology and the Smart Abs machine.

 | Qualities |
|
While the seated ab crunch machine at the gym uses plate based resistance technology, the Smart Abs system employs the user’s own body and technology to build resistance. The resistance works the core muscles in a targeted fashion and builds additional strength due to the resistance. When using the Smart Abs system, the user holds the machine in their lap with one end wedged against their core and the other against their thighs. They then contract the core muscles and crunch forward. They user holds this position and then releases it as they roll back to their resting position. The same action is employed over and over again.
This developer has included easy glide technology in the Smart Abs system, so users get a smoother crunching motion, and they can also set the resistance levels, choosing from one of seven different levels. The Ab Smart system comes with a twenty minute workout video, outlining how to use this core trainer so that users get a workout that’s comfortable, safe, and effective.

As noted, Smart Abs is currently being sold through As Seen on TV and some retail sites. Typically retail sites provide visitors with information on the features included in its design. But many of them also discuss how it’s used and why resistance based products like this one can be effective at toning the core muscles. Pictures of the Smart Abs system are usually posted, and some sites also post videos of it being used, along with consumer reviews and star based ratings.

 | Final Facts |
|
The Smart Abs system was built to target the upper, middle, and lower abs, along with the oblique muscles to boost strength and fat burning. They also designed this machine to be used for the long haul, having included seven levels of resistance so that a user’s workout can grow as their muscle tone and strength does. They’ve also made it small and compact enough so that users can store it away, out of sight, when they aren’t using it.

Jared_O: Well I like the sound of the smart abs system as a tool for stomach fat burning exercises but i’ve looked into it a little more and not seen that great of ratings online. Almost feel like i d be better off with an ab roller, for less money. Also plan on reading some ab belt reviews though because maybe there IS a targeted toning device that can help, don’t want to rule out any options.
sunnyGirl: yeah an abdominal belt sounds like a great idea! which one are you thinking about? i was just comparing the flex belt and smart abs, and i feel like an abs belt would be better for me.
Blake: I wish stomach fat would magically disappear. I have too much of a gut and I cant do malibu pilates or other exercises like that. no
Jon: not sure Smart abs will be my first choices btu an ab toner seems like the right track for losing the fat.
Alex: I wonder if the smart abs can help with stomach fat? DO know if it does? And how does this compare to the ab Flex? Looks very similar.
ShanJoe: sounds like the smart abs machine makes crunches easier but i dont want to do crunches aT ALL! I want to get rid of stomach fat with an easier method, I f it exists I will find it o the net.
CELIA: WONder if there’s a video on youtube for this? I would love to know exactly how the SmartABs thing works and if it could be useful part of a stomach fat diet.
miss_dawn: yeah no crunches for me either, whether its with an ab coaster or ab rocket or smart abs, no thx. i feel like running with a flex belt might be a more efficient stomach fat workout, & no crunching required.
EverettH: It sure is hard to find a video of how Smart Abs really works, I need to see it in action to get how to do it but mostly it looks kinda hard and you have to pull it or push it or something, what I want is an easy stomach fat workout like maybe an ab toning belt, not something I have to still CRUNCH with.
Frank: Yeah rating for smart abs are not the best, price is decent though, i found itonline for 39 bucks which is cheaper than the ab rocket…i wonder which is better for stomach fat burning exercises?
wesley connor: TOTALLy, the Smart ABS DOES look like an AB Flex. WHy is it so cheap, like half off?
SimonSays: Smart Abs is not conveient for me ! I need a toner belt to reduce the muffin top” of stomach fat Ive had for years. I am ready to be slim!
CJ.Herbie: Only a couple stars on Amazon for the Smart Abs, not enough for me to bother, think I’d rather try something like Ab Circle Pro and a stomach fat diet, like no carbs to start, see how fast I get results that way.
Anonymous: Hey speaking of stomach fat i hear eating yogurt is good for that? is it true? if so should i go with greek yogurt or just plain? The Smart abs may help with abs but for stomach fat probably not.
MoniX: All I know is I am ready to get rid of this stomach fat and want whatevr is gonna actually help. I know i have to exercise more but I think a good abs contour belt might help strengthen the muscle, and then I could burn fat faster. What else shold I be looking at, besides the Flex belt. Vibro belt any good?
